Club Account Balance          £4737

Charity Account Balance     £2000 includes £600 for Namibian Ambulance

Auchtermuchty Scouts will require £500 (already pledged) towards professional fees for development of Scout Hut

Club BBQ at Gorno Grove in July raised £120

Correspondence.

Disability Sport Fife. Funding request for two athletes to take part in the World Special Olympics in 2011. £250 to be suggested to Club.

Fife Festival of Music. Funding request for 2011. £250 to be suggested to the Club.

Homeless World Cup. Request to fund a Football Box not supported by Council

Micro & Anopthalmic Children`s Society. Funding to be considered after next weeks speaker on the subject

Thanks to chairs of Committees for efficient delivery of their projects.

21st Charter Dinner. Items discussed – Momentoes for guests – Compilation of a book of the club – Slide show of Club Activities – Provision of wine on tables.

 

Communication                                             (David Rankin)

 

Club website up and running, but needing more members biographies.

Monique Sanders requests articles /photos from Courier to be forwarded to her.

Members please note link and club information on “Smart Community Fife” website.

Article on Chimwemwe to be submitted to District magazine.

 

Service Committee                                        (Ann Bain)

 

Vocational    – Possible visits being considered.

 

Community – Citizen of the year applications being sought.

 

Youth           – RYLA, PSQ, Euroscholar, Young Chef, all in the pipeline.

 

Interact – potential to develop club at Bell Baxter in conjunction with Cupar RC

International – Literacy Drive with rotating book scheme.

 

Foundation                                                    (Sandy Matthew)

 

5000 Crocus bulbs purchased to be planted in villages in conjunction with Community Councils and Scouts / Guides.Will members please establish what the views of their allocated CC is and report back to the Club.

GSE Team to USA is looking for suitable candidates (25-40 years).

Thanks for Life Coordinator – link person to be arranged.

Question of the category of “Senior Active Membership” was raised. This would apply to members whose age + years as member was > 80 who wished to reduce their commitment but retain membership of the club.
