Annual Potato Sales Get Underway
Club members have embarked on their annual tattie sale, thanks once more to the generosity of Albert Bartlett and Sons who have again gifted Rooster potatoes for charity resale. Venues are the Scottish Deer Centre and Cupar Garden Centre on the weekend of 10 & 11 December, from 1.00pm. to 3.00pm. Rotarians will also be out and about in the Howe villages, between 6.00pm. 8.00pm, in Auchtermuchty on Monday 28 November; Strathmiglo on Wednesday 30 November; Ladybank on Thursday 1 December; and, finally, Kingskettle on Friday 2 December. On Saturday 3rd. of December, 1.00pm. 4.00pm, theyll be in Freuchie, Newton of Falkland and Falkland; With over three tons sold in just one day, Rooster potatoes are proving as popular as ever. But, if supplies remain, Rotarians will continue to make house-to-house calls during the evenings of the week beginning Monday 5 December. President Ann Bain said: All proceeds will go to the charities fund of The Rotary Club of the Howe of Fife, for redistribution to various causes.
